Beaches & San Vito
The white sand of San Vito Lo Capo, the quiet coves of Cornino and Baia Santa Margherita, and the wild trails of the Zingaro reserve along the coast.
A quiet stone house with its own pool in the hills of Custonaci, a short drive from San Vito Lo Capo, Erice, and a slower way of doing summer.
Villa Beatrice is a holiday villa with a private pool in the hills of Custonaci, near San Vito Lo Capo in the province of Trapani, western Sicily. It is a family house rather than a hotel: thick whitewashed walls, cool tiled floors, a long table built for lunches that run late.
Mornings are for the pool and a coffee under the pergola. Afternoons go to San Vito Lo Capo, the Erice cable car, or a cove below Monte Cofano. Evenings come back to the garden, when the light turns gold and the sea goes quiet.
Tap any photo to open it. Everything you see is the house and its corner of Sicily.
A ten by five metre pool opens straight onto the view, Monte Cofano on one side and the sea on the other. Sun loungers, palms for a little shade, and water all to yourselves, with no one on the next sunbed.
Set up for a real stay, not a one-night hotel room. Cook, swim, work a little, do nothing at all.
White-sand bays and the best beaches in western Sicily, the Trapani salt pans at sunset, the Greek temple at Segesta and a medieval town in the clouds, all within an easy drive.

The white sand of San Vito Lo Capo, the quiet coves of Cornino and Baia Santa Margherita, and the wild trails of the Zingaro reserve along the coast.

The Monte Cofano reserve rises right behind the house, with coastal paths and the cave hamlet of Scurati, home to the Grotta Mangiapane, just down the road.

A cable car up to medieval Erice and its almond pastries, the lonely Greek temple at Segesta, and Trapani's salt pans glowing at sunset.

We reply to every enquiry personally, usually within a day. Ask about availability, longer stays, or anything you need to know before you book.
Yes. The 10 × 5 m pool is yours alone, in the villa's walled and gated garden, shared with no other guests. It is softly lit in the evening, with a shallow end for children.
We recommend one. The house is wonderfully quiet, which means the beaches, Erice, and the ferry port are a short drive rather than a walk. Trapani-Birgi airport is about 35 minutes away, and there's gated parking for two cars.
Very. The garden is enclosed, the pool has a shallow end, and a cot and high chair are available on request. Please note the pool is not separately fenced from the garden, so young children should be supervised near the water.
Usually 7 nights in July and August, and 5 nights in the shoulder seasons. Get in touch if your dates are a little shorter, we can sometimes be flexible outside peak weeks.
Yes. There's fast fibre Wi-Fi throughout and quiet corners indoors and on the shaded terrace, if a couple of working mornings sneak into the holiday.
